Loving God, Loving Others, Sharing His Story
Why that's so important to us...
When Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment was this is how He responded.
Mark 12:30,31 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
So he gives us two great commandments and then he gives us a great commission.
Matthew 28:18-20, "Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
So our mission is rooted in the Gospel power to transform lives by restoring the relationship of his people with their Creator, and as a result of that, with one another. We are a simple church that loves the gospel, because we know that the Gospel is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes. Our prayer is to build a community of believers that love Christ and love others and using the gifts and talents God has given us we will share His story!
